This short animation, made in Procreate, illustrates the surprising and real meeting of Candela and her diving instructor Santi with a stingray in the depths of the sea. These Rajiformes with extracorporeal eyes and a flattened body shape are related to sharks! She was hiding under the sand and they clearly saw her as she slipped away to hide in another quieter place.

Experience lived this summer by Candela in the Canary Islands, at one of the largest marine nature reserves in the world, together with her mother Camino. There she was baptized with an oxygen bottle and enjoyed seeing all kinds of marine animals, including a nudibranch and a small shark that gave them a scare and that she saw before anyone else ;D
