March 23 marks World Learning Day, a date to highlight the importance of learning for the growth and development of people.

Learning is the process through which skills, knowledge, behaviors and values are acquired and developed. It is the result of attention, study, experience, instruction, reasoning, observation, as well as the influence of external factors with which we interact.

Why do we need and celebrate World Learning Day?
We celebrate World Learning Day, because Learning is universal, and is something intrinsic to human beings. Without it we would not have evolved, without it we would not develop, it is something fundamental to advance in life, and furthermore, today it is part of each and every facet of our life, both personal and professional.

There are two terms that are widely used today in the training and learning sector and that are essential soft skills today, which we must always keep in mind: Life Long Learning and Learnability.

Life Long Learning: The ability to learn permanently. The main goal is continuous personal improvement and is driven through the motivation of the student or student, who chooses the specific skills to develop for their own benefit.
Learnability: The ability to learn to learn. In the business world, learnability is understood as the ability of a worker to learn new skills during their professional life to remain employable. In a constantly changing professional environment like the current one, the ability to develop and learn is highly valued. Learnability is a key indicator of an individual's flexibility and ability to adapt, improve decision-making, curiosity, intellectual abilities, positive and decisive attitude, etc.
